Management
Mr. Winthrop Wadsworth is the President and Chief
Engineer for the company. He received a Master of Engineering degree
from Cornell University in 1977 and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1976. Mr. Wadsworth has been in the
field of FT-IR since 1980, and provides demonstrated expertise in the design
of drive and sampling electronics, high efficiency power drive designs, and
software development for D&P Instruments.
Dr. Jens Peter Dybwad is the Treasurer
and Chief Scientist for the company. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from
the University of Tuebingen, Germany in 1966. Dr. Dybwad has been a pioneer
in the field of fast-scanning FT-IR spectrometers, and has a long history
of accomplishments. Dr. Dybwad has designed and developed multiple cryogenic
FT-IR systems during his tenure at PerkinElmer, and has developed FT-IR
systems for the study of the Aurora Borealis while at Utah State
University. Dr. Dybwad is the inventor of and patent holder for D&P
Instruments' MicroFT (US Patent Number 5,173,744) and TurboFT (US Patent
Number 4,654,530) spectrometers. He has also collaborated on numerous
designs with Mr. Wadsworth on a broad array of custom developed instruments
for our customers.
Mr. Marvin C. Lewis is Vice President for
the company and a specialist/consultant in government marketing. He has a B.S.
from Boston University. Mr. Lewis served as Corporate Manager of Marketing
Research at Raytheon Company and as Head of Defense Marketing at Baldwin
Electronics.
